TANZANAIR welcomes Sajjad Moloo as the new Line Pilot.

TANZANAIR acquired yet another brand new aircraft, the Cessna 208EX, flown to Dar es Salaam directly from the Cessna Aircraft factory in Wichita, U.S.A. The aircraft was given registration 5H-TZV.

TANZANAIR hosted the Beechcraft B350 demonstration flights from 19 – 20 March. This is the most modern turboprop in its class and TANZANAIR is privileged to have one of its kind in the fleet.

All TANZANAIR personnel underwent an SMS recurrent course to keep abreast with safety standards and practices. This will further enhance our Safety Management System and continue to instill a pro-active safety culture to all staff.

Engineers and Technicians from our Engineering Department underwent technical, Initial and Recurrent, training on the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan. Approved Instructors from abroad carried out this course in our Training Room. This ensures that our technical staff remains current on all aspects of maintenance on this type of aircraft.

After 10 years of reliable service, our Cessna Grand Caravan 208B Registration 5H-TZU was sold to a Sky Diving Club in Germany.
